The First Post
What is going on in America seems to be written from a script that is written every night around 1 AM. Something happens to a Dem and the right reacts. Something happens to a Rep and the left reacts.
But the standards are different. Look at Trent Lott vs. Robert Byrd - Lott says something off the cuff and gets skewered for it. Byrd us to recruit for the worst organization in America. (Well Moveon.org would say different.)
Foley text messages and resigns - Dems get a pass on sex. Jefferson gets 90K in his freezer and is still going strong. Duke Cunningham is in jail - rightfully so.

A scandal erupts and you can call it - "It" being the reaction from the left and the right.

So this is my first post - I am so conservative that I can not even speak my true feelings otherwise I would be banned from all social events. But here I can say what needs to be said and ask the questions that need to be asked.

#1 Question: Best economy in years - yet you wouldn't know it from the media outlets.
#2 Question: What would happen to the region (Iraq) if we withdraw?
#3 Question: Why beat on Bush? The 2000 and 2004 elections are history. Focus on the future - the left and far left should not mention Bush or Cheney again - it serves no purpose.
#4 Question: What will the Democrats in Congress do next to help the Democrats lose the White House in 2008?

So this will be a current events post on all sorts of subjects - and some times I will ramble on about something I believe is worth rambling on about.
